Jurassic Coast Fine Foods has rebranded from Jurassic Coast Meats which started in 2008, which was originally set up as the marketing arm for the farm reared Beef and Pork. Steeped in tradition and flavour, our journey began with a passion for quality meats and a commitment to sustainability. Today, we continue to deliver excellence that is rooted in our heritage and driven by innovation. The Sealey family
Eric and Liz Sealey started farming at Fossil Farm in 1985, which at the time was a traditional Dairy and Arable farm. The pair worked tirelessly to build up the Dairy herd and also took on extra land to add to the thriving business, whilst bringing up their three boys James, Harry & Edward.
After the continued pressure of low milk prices the herd was finally sold in 2004. In 2007 their eldest son James came back to the family business they started rearing rose veal and eventually founded Jurassic Coast Meats in 2008.
Today, Managing Director, James, leads the way, with Eric and Liz gracefully taking a lesser role towards a well-deserved retirement.
James along with his wife Laura and their three young children; Thomas, Lily & Oliver are poised to lead Jurassic Coast Fine Foods into a new era of sustainable farming practices, innovation, and exceptional quality.

Our operational capabilities saw significant enhancement in the year 2020 with the expansion of our dispatch bay. In addition, we are pleased to announce the introduction of a fresh selection of premium fruits and vegetables to enrich our product offerings and provide our customers with a wider range of choices.

2008 →
Jurassic Coast Meats was established as the marketing division for our farm’s high-quality rose veal and Beef products. At the time we reared 1000 veal animals per year which were all brought in from neighbouring Dairy farms.

James returned to the family business after completing a degree in Agriculture at the Royal Agricultural College.

2004 →
It was a challenging year when we had to disband our dairy herd due to the ongoing struggle with low milk prices. Despite the difficulties, we shifted our focus to raising dairy replacement heifers for neighbouring farms, ensuring that our passion for farming continued to thrive.

In 1985, Eric and Liz Sealey took over the tenancy at Fossil Farm, where they lovingly ran it as a traditional dairy and arable farm.
